Web Developer

JOB TITLE:
Web Developer

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: 

Working alongside our other designers and developers you will be involved with a variety of projects using different tools and techniques to deliver the best results whilst also working on the continued development of our ecommerce software.
Our ideal candidate will be fluent in ASP, ASP.Net, C# and JavaScript, with the aptitude for learning new languages and sharing their knowledge with the team.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in web development.

Essential:

• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of ASP, ASP.Net, C# and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of web development processes, web software and IT systems
• Experience working with Content Management Systems
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Up-to-date knowledge of web standards, particularly HTML and CSS

Desirable:

• Knowledge of jQuery or other equivalent JavaScript framework
• Experience of open-source technologies, Wordpress, PHP and MySQL
• Formal design and testing documentation
• Automated testing frameworks
